SFL are pleased to announce that LifeLast is part of a team selected to receive funding in support of the Department Of Energy ARPA-E Project.

The DOE has committed to $33million in funding for natural gas pipeline retrofitting projects.

There are 10 projects as part of the REPAIR Program – Rapid Encapsulation of Pipelines Avoiding Intensive Replacement. REPAIR teams will develop natural gas transmission pipeline retrofitting technology to rehabilitate existing case iron and bare steel pipes by creating new, robust pipes inside of old ones.

“We are delighted to be a part of this important work, this is an exciting opportunity for LifeLast/SFL and we look forward to starting work on the project.” Jeff Buratto, President SFL Americas and LifeLast.
