Technology for Long-Term Corrosion Protection

US Coatings

Engineered for extreme service environments where chemical resistance and long-term durability are critical.

GripLine® 6700 HB

A high-build novolac epoxy tank lining

With an 80% solids formulation

It delivers 16–20 mils (406–508 microns) dry film thickness in a single coat, reducing application time while ensuring robust protection.

Designed for continuous service

Up to 425°F (218°C) and resistant to thermal shock, it performs reliably in both immersion and coating-under-insulation (CUI) conditions, offering strong adhesion and excellent resistance to acids, alkalines, and solvents.

Features & Benefits

  • High-build, single-coat system: Achieves 16–20 mils DFT in one application, reducing labor and project timelines
  • Broad chemical resistance: Protects against acids, alkalines, solvents, salt water, and process chemicals in both immersion and splash zones
  • High-temperature performance: Continuous resistance up to 425°F, withstanding intermittent exposure to 450°F
  • Thermal shock resistance: Handles rapid temperature fluctuations without cracking or delamination
  • Strong adhesion and durability: High pull-off strength and abrasion resistance for long-term performance
  • Ease of application: Ambient cure, blush resistance, and compatibility with spray or manual application methods

BUILT TO EXTEND ASSET LIFE

For the most punishing operating conditions

GripLine 6700 HB – Its high-build, single-coat capability minimizes labor, downtime, and project costs while maintaining consistent film integrity across edges and complex geometries. The coating resists wet and dry thermal cycling and maintains performance in high-temperature environments, making it ideal for assets exposed to both heat and moisture. Its excellent adhesion strength and abrasion resistance help prevent premature coating failure, even in aggressive industrial settings.

25+Yrs

Widely used across sectors where corrosion protection is essential to operational reliability.

Typical applications include:

  • Internal linings for steel storage tanks and process vessels
  • Barges, railcars, and transport equipment
  • Offshore platforms and marine structures
  • Refineries and petrochemical processing units
  • Power generation facilities
  • Pulp and paper mills and other chemical processing plants
  • Structural steel and equipment exposed to CUI environments

Its versatility across immersion, atmospheric, and insulated conditions makes it a go-to solution for both new construction and maintenance projects in highly corrosive environments
