Abstract:

As a key initiative of the energy transition, pipeline operators are tasked with safely transporting cleaner fuels that can reduce the amount of CO2 emissions during production, transportation, and use. Join Tim as he discusses integrity threats such as external corrosion, dents, manufacturing defects, and hard spots, on both new and retrofitted hydrogen pipelines, and how composites can help to safely mitigate those threats on hydrogen and hydrogen-blended pipelines.
